End of Year Teacher Gift Ideas

It’s that time of year again where ALL THE THINGS are happening…..at the same time: end of spring sports, spring concerts, start of summer swim, testing and oh yeah, end of year gifts for the teachers! I know, I know, it was JUST teacher appreciation but come on, teachers are amazing and they deserve a little “Holy crap you made it through another year!” gift. I mean, could YOU do their job?

As I stated above, things are a little crazy around the Raak household so this year I got smart and teamed up with some amazing and talented ladies from Ribbon and Twine Design, a women and mom owned gift specialty company serving the Washington DC metro area. You all, they will do ALL the shopping for anyone on your list!!!! You imagine it, they’ll find it. Cue the angels singing……

If you’ve been hanging with me for awhile, you know my love language is gift giving and I like to do it up when it comes to my kiddos’ teachers. My mom and my sister are teachers so I’ve got mad respect for our teachers. Every year I like to put a fun spin on my gifts to teachers and this year is no different. I like to incorporate fun items that you may not necessarily think of including in a gift basket but that definitely take it up a notch and, as usual, I’m a big fan of adding in gifts that can be reused or repurposed.

DRINKS FOR TWO!

This year I did two versions so we’ll start with the smaller version, titled DRINKS FOR TWO! I always start with something fun to hold all the things. This woven and wood tray is perfect and can be used in a bunch of different ways. I also like to have a backdrop for presentation purposes and chose these fun striped fans. Right about now is when you’re asking yourself, “how in the world is that gonna work?” Hold on my friends, it all comes together, I promise. Have a little faith!

Now for the main items. Summer is all about taking a hot second to celebrate longer days, warmer weather, silence and catching up on all the shows, movies and books you missed out on during the school year. This little package gives you a little of everything. Insulated wine cups, wine stoppers, gift card to go see a movie, fun card games and a thank you note handwritten by your kiddo because really, those kids owe these people everything.

All Items Found at Home Goods

Since the kids are going to be delivering, I held it all together with a cellophane gift basket bag. And don’t forget the tissue paper to add color and help prop up your items as well as faux florals to finish off the package and make it even more colorful and season appropriate.

LET’S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!

Alright, this package deal for a teacher gets me super excited! You know I love to throw a good party and love it more when I’ve got sweet party ware to go with it. So in keeping with the summer vibe, the ladies at Ribbon and Twine Design did not disappoint when they sent me photos of all the items to fill my outdoor food tray/cover. Outfit any teacher with these goods and they are 100% ready for summer break. You’ll also be one of their favorite parents. Just sayin’. You know you want the title. You know you want them to brag to the other teachers in the teacher’s lounge about your gift. Oh yeah, that’s ALLLL you! So here’s your little cheat sheet to get you that sweet sweet title.

This covered wooden tray is perfect to reuse this summer when you’re having all the wine and cheese but did not invite the bugs. Pull this cover over and you’re all good!

Covered Tray: Home Goods

Finding that tray was the ONLY thing I did for this teacher gift. This is the part where the Ribbon and Twine Design ladies sent me a bag full of goodies and made all my dreams come true. Here are the items they picked for me.

You can go ahead and get the party started with this cocktail shaker and all the things you’ll need with it. And the best part? It has cocktail recipes on the shaker! Basically this is your summer survival kit.

But wait, the cool factor just got even better with this hard lemonade kit! Just add the liquor and you’re all set.

And who’s gonna say no to plastic, dishwasher safe, cute watermelon art, cocktail glasses? Have all the drinks you want in these. If you, and they, fall in the pool, they won’t break!

Why not add to the celebratory feeling by including prosecco gummies and confetti party poppers? You all, Ribbon and Twine Design basically had me as soon as they sent me a photo of the prosecco gummies. They know my weakness.

I added a palm leaf placemat to anchor all the items and continued my summer theme with more faux flowers.

Here’s the finished product! I included a gift card to the movies in this package as well.

And for easy delivery, I once again wrapped up the whole thing in a cellophane gift bag.

I hope this post helps get your creative juices flowing! Remember, teachers are amazing, lets show them how much we appreciate them!

Major thanks to the ladies from Ribbon and Twine Design for coming to my aid this year. Check out how they styled some of these products below and did I mention you can buy these? Ummm yeah, I”m alllll over that!

Summer is coming!!!!!!!!! PS- You can totally use these ideas for non teacher gifts too meaning you can definitely buy these things for yourself. No judging here!
